I had the pleasure of recording this piece at AIR Lyndhurst Studios in London with some of the best musicians in the world. The video is the sole property of Disney Pixar and is used merely for educational and promotional purposes; as such, the soundtrack presented is not the original and doesn't represent the creative decisions of Disney Pixar.
We all have those friends, who we know will be there forever. The friends with who you don't have to pretend, that you're better than you are; cause, come what may, wherever you may be, whatever you say I can still guarantee that you'll be, mon amie pour la vie.
Happy Birthday, mon amie pour la vie. Happy Birthday, if I could then I would cross the sea, we could take all night, we'd groove to the music and wait for the morning light, mon amie pour la vie.
Happy Birthday, mon amie pour la vie. Happy Birthday, If I could then I would cross the sea, we could take all night, we'd groove to the music and maybe you'd teach me the way, to say mon amie pour la vie.
Just a simple song, a simple song to you. Just a few odd notes strung together for us two. No music complexities, could capture how my heart hurries, when I hear your voice, hear your name, see your face; so without shame I'll sing to you, a simple song tonight, a song of all the love that's come to light. I never quite believed, that heaven would provide. Till it brought me you and forever turned my tide. Your laugh no one can replicate, and that eyebrow game has sealed my fate, and I can't resist, can't turn away, my heart insists that without shame I should sing to you, a simple song tonight. A song of all the love that's come to light. I trust that you and I, will share this rugged path; and in our times of trial, we'll support the other half; and let us look around to see, with awe and awesome reverie the world that we pass, and our dreams that will last, so without shame I'll sing to you, a simple song tonight, a song of all the love that's come to light.
A comedy about a dog chasing down a burglar while driving a mini car. Chase, tension, triumph, and a western-style standoff.
This scene is best appreciated with the video, however, for copyright reasons I cannot post it publicly. If you are interested in seeing it, I would be happy to send a private link. Please email me at [email protected]
I’m a Canadian composer who specializes in music for film, television and other visual media. My musical goal is to create strong emotional connections that support the visuals and help propel them forward. People often comment on the innate playfulness in my music which lends itself well to animation and comedy; nevertheless, my interests and abilities are not restricted to these genres, and I strive to write music that is emotionally and stylistically inseparable from whichever project I am entrusted with, regardless of genre.
I completed my Bachelor of Music in Composition at the University of British Columbia in 2015. It was there that I was first introduced to film music, and I quickly fell in love with the art form. I decided to pursue a Master’s Degree in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games, which I completed in 2016 at Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the best musicians around the world, recording at amazing studios such as AIR Lyndhurst in London, Budapest Scoring Stage, FAMES Recording Studio in Macedonia, and The Warehouse in Vancouver.
My mission is to bring something new to every project, not in the interest of innovation, but in order to perfectly encapsulate the director’s vision for their project. If you need music for any project, big or small, please contact me using the form below.
